Working with Erik Törnblom of Cargo Planner & Mike Rowe-Eyres from Airspace, we’re now fully live with this revolutionary software. The system offers a real time experience, in that it accepts shipments on a “just booked” basis to give all those booking into our partner carriers capacity an instant snapshot of what weight & cube is available along with how the flight build could look at that precise moment.

Why is this important? It reduces the temptation to book to cube or weight alone. We are able to book into capacity using available cube, weight & build factors. This improves the efficiency of the booking process, allowing us to be more accurate, less cautious, or being overly optimistic. It’s admirably demonstrated how we can maximise flights, without intentional overbooking, using the basic rules of a simple system we previously employed.

It also helps when quoting by giving us the capability to make virtual ULD builds, outside of live & open flights. Even the highly experienced would be surprised to learn what can be achieved when making complex virtual builds using our new system.
